Woudenberg Properties is a privately held, family-owned company. Our story began in 1962 in Phoenix, Arizona, when the Woudenberg family founded Star-Lite Barricade & Sign Co., a regional traffic control equipment rental company. As the business grew, we acquired multiple Industrial Outdoor Storage (IOS) properties to support operations. Over time, we became the largest traffic control equipment rental company in the Southwest United States. This experience provided us with firsthand knowledge of what it takes to own, operate, and manage IOS properties.
Today, three generations later, Woudenberg Properties continues to develop, invest in, and manage Industrial Outdoor Storage properties. Our portfolio includes value-add acquisitions, ground-up speculative development, NNN leased investments, and build-to-suit opportunities. We focus on urban infill IOS sites with strong demand and high barriers to entry. Our properties feature hard-to-find Industrial zoning that allows for industrial outdoor storage. These locations and their zoning are difficult to replicate, making them attractive to both industrial users and real estate investors.
